Submarine OFC

After the Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone on Dec 30, 2018 for providing submarine optical fiber cable (OFC) between Chennai and Port Blair and seven other Islands in Andaman & Nicobar, the government is now gearing up to repeat it between Kochi and Lakshadweep Islands. The Chennai-ANI project is being executed by BSNL through NEC of Japan for which it has already placed orders on Jun 27, 2018.
