Consultation by Trai on OTT

All the telecom service providers (TSPs) in response to Trai’s consultation paper on “regulatory framework for Over The Top communication services” have strongly supported regulating OTT players at par with them. They have demanded ‘same service same rules’ to ensure level playing field. On the other hand, Broadband India Forum and IAMAI have opposed regulating OTT services.
