13 buildings for Army’s NFS project

Last year, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) invited a tender for the construction of 13 buildings at various locations in India for Unified Network Management System (UNMS). The tender was jointly invited by Abhai Kumar, CGM (BW) of the civil wing and Praveen Varshney, CGM (EW) of the electrical wing, both of BSNL corporate office. Two Mumbai based companies participated in this tender, though many had taken the tender documents.

Capacite Infraprojects Ltd emerged as the L1 bidder. However, its bid was higher by 18.50 per cent from the estimated cost.
