These features will not be part of Microsoft 365 subscription
Microsoft has recently announced some changes to its Outlook and OneDrive services. Windows Central has reported that the company will be making some changes in terms of features and functionality in some areas.
According to the report, starting November 30, 2023, Microsoft 365 users will lose the ability to associate with a new personalised email address using the Outlook.com mailbox. Another major change that Microsoft is making is that starting November 2, 2023, Outlook attachments will be counted against OneDrive storage. Do keep in mind, Microsoft only offers 5GB as free storage with every Microsoft account.
Up until now, Outlook attachments do not count in the OneDrive storage. Once Microsoft starts counting it against the free OneDrive storage data cap, users may need to either purchase more storage or delete old attachments or emails.
