The worst mistake you can do when your phone catches fire

A smartphone explosion got recorded on video where a technician at an unknown place was trying to replace a swollen battery of the iPhone 5s. Accidentally, he happened to puncture the battery causing the iPhone to burst into flames. While it sounds unfortunate, the technician got lucky and managed to stay safe. But what he did later can be called as sheer stupidity and in fact could be the worst mistake you can possibly do to a burning phone.
The technician tried to douse the flame by throwing the burning iPhone on the floor and stamping it with his shoe. He got lucky the second time as the iPhone thankfully did not burn through the shoe.
