Reliance launches Lyf Flame 8 and Wind 3 smartphones, price starts at Rs 4,199

Reliance has launched two entry-level smartphone — Lyf Flame 8 and Wind 3. Both the devices offer VoLTE support and are exclusively available on Flipakrt.

Lyf Flame 8 has 4.5-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 resolution and is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor. It offers 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded further using a mciroSD card.

The smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The connectivity options of the smartphone include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is backed by a 2,000 mAh battery and is priced at Rs 4,199.

Coming to Lyf Wind 3, the smartphone sports a price tag of Rs 6,999 and flaunts a 5.5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. Powering the smartphone is a 1.2 GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB by installing a microSD card.

It has an 8MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP secondary camera for selfies. On the connectivity front, the handset offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and houses a 2,920 mAh battery.

Last week, Reliance launched the Lfy Wind 2 smartphone priced at Rs 8,200. Lyf Wind 2 is the first smartphone in the Wind series to sport a 6-inch display and metallic frame design. The handset comes equipped with BesLoudness, which is supposed to enhance the audio performance of the device.

It comes with VoLTE support and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system. Powering the device is a quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 2GB RAM. The device comes with 16GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
