According to RailTel, implementing KAVACH across the Indian Railways network is crucial for the national transporter. The system attained the status of a “National ATP System” following its adoption by the Ministry of Railways in July 2020.

RailTel further mentioned that Quadrant Future Tek Limited is currently undergoing the final approval process by the Research Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO) as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the KAVACH project.

Asserting its capabilities, RailTel stated that it possesses an internal team of experts in Railway Signalling Systems fully equipped to undertake extensive upgrade projects like KAVACH. Both companies have their expertise and are ready to deal with the opportunities related to the KAVACH project.

Sanjai Kumar, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of RailTel, elaborated on the organization’s commitment to supporting the Indian Railways in implementing indigenous safety systems like KAVACH and expressed intentions to extend the technology’s reach overseas.
