Olympia to build IT park in Chennai

Olympia Cyberspace Pvt Ltd, a unit of the Chennai-based Olympia Group, will build a 1.1-million sq ft greenfield IT park here, at an investment of around ₹750 crore. The campus in Guindy will be constructed within three years, and is expected to house nearly 12,500 IT professionals, said a company release.

The park is being built jointly with US Private equity fund Apollo Global. Ajit Kumar Chordia, MD, Olympia Group, said the project is a milestone for the group in the IT office-space vertical. “We are confident that this facility will attract IT/ ITeS multinational companies that benefit from the amenities at a strategic location.”
