Lt Gen Rajesh Pant (retd) takes over charge from India’s first cybersecurity chief Gulshan Rai: Sources
According to sources, Lt Gen Rajesh Pant (retd) will be taking over the charge of National Cyber Coordination Centre’ chief (NCCC) from Gulshan Rai, India’s first Cybersecurity Chief, who has served a stint of four years and will demit office on March 31.
Currently, Pant is serving as an Officer on Special Duty at the NCCC. He has more than 10 years of experience in top level Defense IT and Telecom training centre. Also, he is a founding member of India’s indigenous Electronic Warfare (EW) programme.
