Irani inaugurates Wi-Fi facility at Amethi rly stn

Union Minister for Women and Child Welfare Smriti Irani inaugurated free Wi-Fi service at Amethi railway station on Wednesday and reviewed the project for doubling of rail tracks on Rae Bareli-Amethi route.

On a two-day visit to her parliamentary constituency Amethi, Irani also held a ‘chaupal’ at Mukutnath temple to listen to the grievances of her voters.

Before the ‘chaupal’, the Union minister reviewed development projects in the constituency in the presence of Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Awanish Awasthi. Divisional Railway Manager of Northern Railway’s Lucknow division, Sanjay Tripathi, was also present to assess the progress of rail projects.
