India ranks behind Pakistan in global mobile data speed test
India stood at the 131th spot in Ookla’s Speedtest Global Index for mobile Internet speeds. The country slipped two positions in September in terms of the mobile data speeds. The average download speed in terms of the mobile data stood at 12.07Mbps, while the average uploading speed stood at 4.31Mbps. India also recorded a latency of 52ms in the month of September.
Interestingly, while India ranked 131, Pakistan stood at the 116th spot, which is one step up from its last position. The country recorded an average download speed of 17.13Mbps and an average upload speed of 11.30Mbps. Nepal, on the other hand, moved six notches down and ranked 118 in September’s speed test. It recorded an average download speed of 17.12Mbps and an average upload speed of 10.61Mbps. Similarly, Sri Lanka ranked 102 in the mobile data speed in Ookla’s speed test.
