HMD Global expected to launch Nokia 9 PureView smartphone in India on June 6

HMD Global, the company that owns the right to manufacture and sell Nokia-branded handsets globally, has sent out invites for the launch of next Nokia smartphone in India — which is expected to be its flagship smartphone Nokia 9 PureView.

HMD Global has sent out the invites for an event scheduled on June 6 in New Delhi where the company will announce the India price and availability of the Nokia 9 PureView.

To recall, the handset was launched at the Mobile World Congress 2019. The USP of the smartphone is its five camera setup on the back — which made the device the first one to do so. All five lenses have 12MP sensors. Out of these two sensors are full-colour whereas three are monochrome for better black-and-white photography. All the lenses are f/1.8 and work together at the same time.
