Govt inks pact with 3AI to make state AI hub

Telangana govt has inked an MoU with 3AI, India’s largest platform for AI & Analytics leaders & professionals, to establish the state as a global Artificial Intelligence (AI) hub to foster innovation and transformation.

The main objective of the MOU will be to position Hyderabad and Telangana as a global hub for IT and AI development & innovation.

As part of this tie-up, Telangana’s ITE&C department and 3AI will set up and enhance the AI community and ecosystem in the state.

The MoU will also focus on building a community of AI & Analytics leaders from various enterprises and tech-service firms and local startups, as well as showcase initiatives of the ITE&C and emerging technologies wing of Telangana.

“Telangana has become a pioneer in implementing exponential technology in governance. This MoU will help bring forth a new community of AI leaders and enable the state to adopt AI technologies,” said Telangana IT principal secretary Jayesh Ranjan.

“AI has become core to businesses, society and govt at large as it has an ability to usher in massive efficiency, productivity and innovation. 3AI, with its over 950 AI & Analytics leaders, will work with govt to create an AI leaders focused ecosystem through definitive discussions,” said 3AI CEO Sameer Dhanrajani.
