A new version of this Android malware can disable fingerprint, face unlock to steal device PIN

A new version of the Chameleon Android banking trojan has re-emerged. The latest version uses a technique that helps hackers to take over devices by disabling fingerprint and face unlock to steal device PINs.

According to a report by ThreatFabric, researchers who have been following the malware, have found that it is currently distributed via the Zombinder service.
