ZTE India gets new chief executive officer

NEW DELHI: Chinese telecom gear maker ZTE has appointed Yan Xiao as it new chief executive officer for the Indian market, replacing Peng Aiguang, who has now moved back to China, people familiar with the matter said.

Yan was last year appointed as the deputy chief executive officer for the Indian operation, and was looking after telco partners such as Bharti Airtel, BSNL, Reliance Jio besides focusing on government and enterprise customers in the country.
