ZTE-BSNL Payment Scam

Anupam Shrivastava, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL)’s temporary CMD for a year, is all out to ruin the company. And he is under consideration for renewal. In his nefarious activities, he is being helped by certain officers – the new Director of Mobile Services RK Mittal and NK Gupta, an old hand of BSNL who distinguished himself by spoiling BSNL’s fixed line business. These three men have illegally released huge payments of over Rs 1,000 crore to a Chinese company, ZTE.
