Zoom adds gesture recognition support for iPad users, rolls out focus mode and other features

Popular video conferencing platform Zoom has added new features across desktop, iPad, and Zoom Phone. The company has added improvements in terms of the release of Focus Mode, enhancements to the Zoom Phone dashboard, Zoom Chat sidebar enhancements, and more.

Zoom’s focus mode is being aimed at virtual classrooms and the company says that it will help teachers in keeping their classroom distractions free. In the Focus Mode, meeting participants are only able to see themselves, the host/co-hosts, and the content they are sharing.

Transfer meeting from mobile to desktop

Zoom will now allow users to seamlessly transition a meeting from mobile to desktop and back to mobile.
