Zomato says piloting Rs 3 lakh health cover for delivery workers, families

Zomato on Tuesday said it is piloting a health cover worth Rs 3 lakh extendable to families for delivery workers who have been with the food delivery and restaurant discovery company for 2-3 years as a loyalty benefit.

The programme is being piloted in New Delhi, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.

Zomato in a statement said it already provides Rs 10,00,000 of life cover and a dedicated amount for funeral expenses in case of the death of a delivery partner.
