Zomato delivery boy arrested for assaulting Bengaluru female customer

The Electronics City police have arrested a delivery boy for allegedly assaulting a woman customer while delivering the food order. The injured woman has posted a video of her bleeding nose on social media platforms.

The arrested has been identified as Kamaraj, 35, a resident of Channakeshavanagar, working as a delivery boy with a food-delivery company and restaurant aggregator Zomato. The customer and victim Hitesha Chandranee, a content writer, fought with the delivery boy over the delay in her order delivery. The incident happened on Tuesday. Kamaraj is charged with assault and intentional insult according to an investigating officer.
