ZEEL MD & CEO Punit Goenka challenges NCLT’s insolvency order before NCLAT

Mumbai: Punit Goenka, MD & CEO, Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL), has approached an appeals court for relief after a dedicated bankruptcy forum ordered the media company be taken into administration following a plea by private lender IndusInd Bank. Goenka’s plea is listed for admission on Friday.

Goenka sought relief from the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) against the order issued by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), which admitted ZEEL into the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP).
