Youtube really wants you to see the ‘up next’ video with this new look

Google’s YouTube is testing a new interface that will push users more on watching the next video that autoplays after one video ends. The revamped UI has been spotted on the Android app by 9to5Google website. It has been mentioned that if the video autoplay feature is enabled, select users can see the revamped ‘Up Next’ UI that has a larger thumb for the videos, giving users an easier way to move to the next video.
Unlike the ‘Up Next’ video interface that you see after a video ends on YouTube, the new UI has a larger touch target and is more straightforward than before. On top left corner one can see the numeric countdown, which was not present before. The circular timer that we see for now is no more in the new interface and there’s a larger preview this time with a rectangular thumbnail. Below the large thumbnail one can see two buttons to either ‘Play Now’ or ‘Cancel’. In case you want to cancel the countdown timer, there’s a new ‘X’ icon on the top right corner.
