YouTube Music now shows real-time lyrics on Android and iOS

Competing with the likes of Spotify and Apple Music, YouTube Music is one of the most popular music streaming platforms in the world. Last year, YouTube Music started testing live lyrics as part of a redesigned Casting UI.

Now, a recent report by 9to5Google suggests that Google has started rolling out the live lyrics feature to the YouTube Music app on Android as well as iOS. Currently, the app has a static lyrics layout which can be accessed by pulling the middle tab from the bottom of the app.

However, the new feature highlights the current line in white colour, increases its size and visibility and makes other parts of the lyrics darker.
