YouTube introduces the new corrections feature, allows users to leave a correction note for viewers

Making changes in any video is a cumbersome process and in the case of YouTube, users are either supposed to mention the changes in the description which has a high chance of going unnoticed by viewers. Another option was to delete the video, edit it and re-upload it which will cost creators the entire views and comments on that particular video.
To solve this problem, YouTube has introduced a new feature called ‘corrections’, according to a report by The Verge.
The corrections feature allows content creators to add correction notes at a particular timestamp that appears as an Infocard at the top right corner of the video with the correction notes. Viewers will also have the option to read the correction notes and the video descriptions.
