YouTube creators will be forced to do this one thing
NEW DELHI: Google is one company that takes account security quite seriously and the company has been encouraging its users to go for 2-step verification. Now the tech giant has announced that the YouTube creators will be required to use the 2-step verification method to access important functions starting later this year.
YouTube took to Twitter to announce this new change. In the tweet, the company confirmed its plans to require YouTube creators to use stronger account protection. YouTube will now ask creators to use 2-step verification to access YouTube Studio. This change will become compulsory starting November 1, 2021.
