Youth held for duping 1K people of Rs 1.5 cr online
The Delhi Police has arrested 27-year-old man for allegedly cheating innocent people on the pretext of lucky draw on online shopping in national Capital. Police said the accused, along with his associates, used to hire and train undergraduate boys and girls for making outbound calls to their targets and alluring them for shopping from their website (key4kart.com).
The accused has been identified as Deepak Negi who is a native of Tehri, Uttrakhand and was staying presently at Delhi’s Sangam Vihar. Police said the accused has duped over one thousand people from across India and received more than Rs 1.5 crore rupees in the last one year.
