You may not see certain ‘bad words’ related to coronavirus on Gboard

NEW DELHI: Recently, it was reported that Google has removed all the coronavirus related apps from its Play Store. Now, the company has gone ahead and done some improvements in its keyboard app Gborad.
Google has a list of bad words, which the company blocks from appearing in the Gboard prediction result. As reported by 9to5Google, the tech giant has added a few terms related to coronavirus in that list.
The terms blocked by Google include China disease, China virus, Chinese disease, Chinese virus, Asia disease, Asia virus, and virus. The report adds that Gboard has a list of words which it blocks from appearing in autocorrect. These terms are either racist or sexual in nature. Recently, Google has expanded this list and now it includes terms related to the dangerous coronavirus.
