Yellow Class gets $6-million funding from Elevation Capital, others

Bengaluru: Yellow Class, an education technology startup focused on children’s extracurricular activities, has raised $6 million in a Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital. A clutch of angel investors— including Meesho’s cofounder Vidit Aatrey and PropTiger CEO Dhruv Agarwala—and existing investors India Quotient, Titan Capital & First Cheque participated in the fundraise.

The company had in November raised $1.5 million as seed funding from India Quotient.

The fresh capital, the edtech startup said, will be used for improving the product, developing more holistic content, building brand awareness, hiring for leadership roles, and driving expansion in more than 500 cities in India and abroad.
