Yahoo launches its own Android phone for $50
There’s a new Yahoo branded Android smartphone that has been launched in the US with Verizon’s service. Yahoo, which is owned by Verizon, has partnered with ZTE to make its own branded phone. In fact, the device is called Yahoo Mobile ZTE Blade A3Y. The USP of the device is that it comes with apps like Yahoo Mail, News, Sports, Finance and Weather, as per a report by CNET. The smartphone costs $50 or around Rs 3700.
The smartphone is said to run Android 10 operating system and offers a 5.45-inch 720p HD display. There’s 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage along with an 8MP rear camera with dual flash and 5MP selfie camera in the front. The device offers both face unlock and fingerprint scanner as well. It is backed by a 2,660mAh removable battery.
