Xiaomi’s Manu Jain says ready to take premium market challenge with new Mi brand strategy

NEW DELHI: Xiaomi is increasingly putting efforts to make a dent in the country’s mid and premium smartphone segment and to take on the likes of Samsung, Vivo and OnePlus through its Mi brand.

The company’s renewed focus is driven by a huge installed base of entry level smartphone users that are now looking to upgrade their phones along with the availability of affordability options for customers.
