Xiaomi wants to make amends, brings back 3.5mm headphone jack to A3
Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi brought back the 3.5mm headphone jack for its newest Android One powered device, the A3, here on Wednesday.
The company said that it had listened to reviewers and its fans, many of whom were dismayed at the absence of the universal jack.
The phone runs stock Android version 9. Android One provides a clean experience for the user, and the phone will continue receiving software and security updates for at least two years.
The 6-inch AMOLED display houses an in-display fingerprint scanner. The 32MP front camera is encased in a teardrop notch, while the rear contains three cameras- 48MP main, 8MP superwide that extends up to 118 degrees, and a 2MP sensor to aid the depth effect for the portrait mode.
