Xiaomi to launch Rs 4.8 lakh smartphone today

Chinese handset maker Xiaomi is all set to launch its much-advertised Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 smartphones in India today. The company claims that Redmi K20 Pro is the fastest smartphone in the world.
Just hours ahead of the launch, Xiaomi teased a special version of Redmi K20 Pro handset priced at a whopping Rs 4.8 lakh.
The company announced the launch of its Rs 4.8 lakh smartphone on Twitter. The post also has a picture of what appears to be the rear side of the Redmi K20 Pro. From the image, the rear side of the smartphone appears to be gold plated and houses a diamond-encrusted K logo at the bottom left corner.
