Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G phone appears on Geekbench

Xiaomi will unveil the Redmi Note 9 series phone in China this week. The new Redmi Note 9 handsets are rumoured to be 5G enabled. Ahead of the launch, alleged Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G has appeared on benchmark listing site Geekbench. Listed under model number M2007J17C, the smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset.

The listing suggests that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G phone may run on Android 10 operating system. It is likely to pack 8GB of RAM, although previous leaks hinted at 12GB of RAM on the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. As per the Geekbench listing, the upcoming phone has 645 score in the single-core test and 1963 score in the multi-core test.
