Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S, another 48-megapixel camera phone, to launch in India on May 20
Xiaomi is looking to ride on the success of its Note 7 series with a new smartphone, Redmi Note 7S. Scheduled to launch in India on May 20, Xiaomi has already confirmed it will be featuring 48-megapixel rear camera.
Xiaomi currently offers Redmi Note 7 Pro with 48-megapixel rear camera. The phone uses Sony’s IMX586 sensor to deliver the high resolution camera. Redmi Note 7S is expected to use the same sensor.
Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi took a dig at OnePlus 7 Pro, saying “There’s a new flagship in town.” It also promised to launch a new “Flagship Killer 2.0” – a jab at OnePlus’ ‘flagship killer’ moniker.
