Xiaomi Redmi K20 launches on 28 May: 5 things about the Flagship Killer 2.0

After teasing its new flagship on multiple occasions and openly nudging OnePlus, Redmi has finally put a date to the launch of the K20. The Redmi K20 will be launched officially on 28 May in China at 2 pm local time (11:30 am IST). Here’s what you can expect from the OnePlus killer:

The name’s Killer, Flagship Killer

While Lu Weibing revealed that the K in K20 stands for “Killer”, that is only half of the story. Redmi’s teaser for the K20 in India reads “Congratulations, OnePlus! We heard about your new flagship. Regards Flagship Killer 2.0”.

OnePlus earned the moniker Flagship Killer thanks to its value-for-money devices. This is the first hint at what Redmi is trying to do.
