Xiaomi Redmi 8A with 5000mAh battery launched in India: Price, specs and more

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has expanded its Redmi A series smartphone lineup in India with the launch of Redmi 8A. The handset is the successor to the Redmi 7A and comes with improvements in terms of design, camera and battery and more.

The Xiaomi Redmi 8A has been launched in two RAM variants for buyers. The 2GB RAM variant costs Rs 6,499 and 3GB RAM variant costs Rs 6,999. Both variants will start selling starting September 29 on Flipkart and Xiaomi’s official online store. Offline, the device will be available starting September 30. In terms of colour options, Redmi 8A comes in Sunset Redmi Ocean Blue and Midnight Black.
As part of launch offers, Flipkart is offering no cost EMI option starting at Rs 542 per month. Flipkart is also offering 5% unlimited cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card and HDFC Bank Debit Cards.
