Xiaomi launches Redmi 7A, successor of its highest-selling smartphone, in India: Price, specifications and more

Xiaomi has launched successor of its most-popular smartphone in India Redmi 6A. Dubbed Redmi 7A, the smartphone’s tagline is ‘Smart Desh ka Smartphone’. Redmi 6A launched with the tag line ‘Desh ka Naya smartphone’ in September 2018 at Rs 5,999. Redmi 7A is fourth iteration of the company’s bestselling smartphone series since its debut in 2017. The handset is aimed at first-time phone users who want to graduate from feature phone to a smartphone.
Xiaomi Redmi 7A price and availability
Redmi 7A is priced at Rs 5,999 onwards. However, the company is giving a special discount of Rs 200 in the month of July. Post their discount, the phone will be available at a special price of Rs 5,799. The smartphone will go on sale starting July 11 on the company’s official website Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores. It will later be available at other retail stores across India.
