Xiaomi is set to leave rival smartphones ‘behind’ using Samsung’s technology
Xiaomi can be credited for starting the 48MP camera trend. The company was the first to introduce 48MP rear camera smartphone in India with its Redmi Note 7 Pro, launched in February this year. Soon, the trend was followed by others in the market. Now, the Chinese handset maker is planning to once again change the trend.
Now, the company appears all set to further heat up the market. This time from 48MP to 64MP rear cameras. Few days ago, a tipster pointed out in a Weibo post that Xiaomi could soon launch a smartphone with 64MP sensor. Now, XDA Developers website has found few strings of codes in the MIUI 10’s camera app for the Redmi K20 Pro. The codes clearly mention terms like ‘64MP DUAL CAMERA’ and ‘ultra-pixel’. Of course, there’s no official confirmation coming from Xiaomi yet but these two leaks somewhat substantiate the claim and are something that should make fans excited enough.
