Xiaomi factories to operate at regular capacity by June in India; stares at manpower shortage: Manu Jain
NEW DELHI: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi said that its manufacturing partners will soon resume production after getting local approvals from state governments and are likely to reach regular capacity by June this year.
Foxconn has received approval from the Andhra Pradesh government for the Sri City plant and will start production soon, Xiaomi said.
“All the plants should be up and running. The ramp-up will be slow. We are hoping them to be up and running soon,” said Manu Jain, Xiaomi India head on Monday.
