Xbox Game Pass may soon introduce a “Friends & Family” subscription plan

Microsoft has been testing the Xbox Game Pass family sharing plan for almost a month. The plan allows users to share the Game Pass benefits with other users, thus the name. However, Microsoft could go with different branding, hinting that subscribers would be able to share benefits with a wider group rather than just family.

A Twitter user, Aggiornamenti Lumia, spotted the “Game Pass Friends & Family” branding. However, this is not something new. Microsoft has been expected to introduce a new sharing plan for Xbox Game Pass for a while now. Although the new branding does imply that the sharing will not be only limited to family members.
