World Telecom Day: TRAI chairman says sector played key role in meeting challenges during pandemic

The telecom regulator highlighted the role played by the telecom and information and communication Technology (ICT) sector in ensuring education , work from home, healthcare and banking services remained accessible during the pandemic.

” Telecom and ICT sectors have played a major role in meeting the challenges during the pandemic. Almost every facets of our life be it education, office work, business, banking , health, commerce and social connectivity, sailed smoothly and successfully during these turbulent times,” said Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) chairman P D Vaghela on World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD).
