Workplace supply company, partners booked for cheating telco of Rs 46.5L

Pune: A case of cheating and breach of agreement was registered against a workforce supply firm and its partners on Tuesday for allegedly not depositing provident fund amount of Rs46.51 lakh into the accounts of the 123 employees of a private telecom company.

Telecom firm official Sunil Laxman Randhir (45) of Handewadi has lodged a complaint with the Deccan Gymkhana police. The sum was collected between September 7, 2012 and July 4, 2014. Instead of depositing it in the PF accounts of the employees, the firm’s partners used it for their personal gains, the complaint stated.
