WNS revenue up 16.6% in Q1

Bengaluru: WNS’ revenue rose 16.6% to $295.3 million in the June quarter, compared to the same period last year. Revenue in constant currency was up over 20%. Profit rose 23% to $33.1 million.
The business process management company’s global headcount went up by 3,065 to 55,146. CEO Keshav Murugesh said that despite the weakening macro environment, “we continue to see stability in our existing relationships and strength in demand for our solutions which deliver both strategic transformational benefits and cost savings.”
