Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has updated its Aadhaar app with new user-interface and features. The app is available on both Android and iOS platforms via their official app stores. Apart from the ability to download the soft copy of Aadhaar card, the app allows users to get access all Aadhaar related services such as offline eKYC, Share Aadhaar via QR Code, change address, etc on their smartphones.
With the mAadhaar app, users can now carry the soft copy of Aadhaar card and can leave the original physical copy at home. This is also helpful for those who do not have the original physical Aadhaar card with them when needed.
