Wipro wins deal from Fruit of the Loom

BENGALURU: WiproNSE 1.09 % has got a multimillion-dollar technology services deal from American underwear maker Fruit of the Loom, a company owned by billionaire investor Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway.

The Kentucky-based firm is a Wipro customer already. The firm is expected to begin phased transition of its IT services to Wipro and the process will continue through March next year. “Wipro does not comment on specific client engagements,” said a company spokesperson.
