Wipro Q4 show: In-line numbers but uncertain future; should you buy, sell or hold?
Dalal Street analysts held mixed views on WiproNSE -0.35 % after the IT major reported in-line quarterly numbers but refrained from providing future guidance citing an uncertain environment due to the Covid impact.
Amit Chandra of HDFC Securities said the impact of Covid-19 on Q4 numbers was around $14-16 million, which is 0.7-0.8 per cent of its revenue. Taking a similar run-rate, he expects about 3-4 per cent sequential fall in revenue for the April-June period.
Chandra added that the stock trades at a price-to-equity multiple of 11.8 times for FY21 and 10.8 times of FY22 EPS. He has a ‘reduce’ call on the scrip with target at Rs 190. This translates into upside of mere 1.84 per cent from last close.
