Wipro Infrastructure inks pact to acquire automation business of Incite CAM

WIN was demerged from parent Wipro Ltd, the listed information technology (IT) outsourcing arm in 2013
Wipro Infrastructure Engineering (WIN), a business division of Wipro Enterprises Ltd, has entered into an agreement to acquire the industrial automation business of Bengaluru-based Incite CAM Centre for about Rs 20 crore.

This is the first acquisition for WIN Automation, a newly-created business division of Wipro Enterprises, billionaire Azim Premji’s privately-held business.

The acquisition will help WIN Automation expand its presence in the welding automation segment, the company said in a statement. Singhi Advisors was the advisor to Incite CAM Centre.
