Wipro appoints Tulsi Naidu of Zurich Insurance Group as independent director

Wipro NSE -1.80 % has appointed Tulsi Naidu, chief executive officer, Asia Pacific, Zurich Insurance Group, as an independent director on the Board for five years with effect from July 1.

Naidu, who has spent 25 years in the global financial services sector, joined Zurich Insurance Group in September 2016 and was named the CEO of the UK business in November. At the company, she implemented an extensive transformation programme reshaping the business, simplifying the structure, improving technical and digital capabilities, and positioning it for growth in its core markets.
