Will continue to develop partnership with India on 5G, says British Deputy High Commission executive

NEW DELHI: British Deputy High Commission’s deputy head of mission Richard Homer said that UK has a very strong partnership with India on 5G which the country will continue to develop and build on as UK is exploring synergies with telecom regulators across the globe to advance 5G.

Last year in June, India had signed three memoranda of understanding with three top UK academic institutions to facilitate meaningful exploration and early adoption of 5G technology.

The MOUs were signed between representatives of King’s College, University of Surrey, University of Bristol and C-DOT, a government-owned body engaged in research and development in the field of telecommunications in India.
