Wi-Fi calling rolls out to Vi subscribers on iPhone: Check compatible devices

Wi-Fi calling is one of the most useful improvements to modern phone calling, allowing users to make regular calls over a Wi-Fi network instead of a cellular network. All the three major carriers, Airtel, Vi and Jio have supported making calls over Wi-Fi for a while – now iPhone users will also be able to take advantage of this feature.

The rollout of Wi-Fi calling isn’t exactly new and consumers have been able to make calls over Wi-Fi network for a while now, but now Vi users in Marahastra and Goa, Gujarat, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata, who have a 4G enabled SIM card can call their contacts over Wi-Fi, according to a report by the Indian Express.
