Why Zomato has written down this Rs 39 crore investment

Food delivery platforms Zomato has announced that it’s abandoning its plans to enter the payments space. In a recent stock exchange filing, the company said it’s surrendering its payment aggregator (PA) license obtained from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in January 2024.
